My Story

I was formally introduced to yoga 20+ years ago as part of a prenatal class, after which I practiced sporadically while juggling a career and the role of mom to two boys. Fast forward several years and my mat became a place to pause and recenter during my spouse’s cancer battle. It continues to be one of my key strategies for managing stress and staying physically and mentally healthy. I completed my first 200-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) training as a New Year’s resolution and haven’t looked back. I’m honored to have learned from multiple teachers – who have generously shared their Bhakti, Hot Power Vinyasa, Katonah and Yin lineages with me.

My roots run deep in Colorado, going back five generations. Getting outdoors no matter the season has provided both inspiration and refuge. I currently split time between the Front Range and Summit County. Whether on a yoga mat or paddleboard, snowshoes or skis, feet laced up in hiking boots or a pair of sneakers, my heart is full when I’m exploring the world, connecting with people and moving and breathing deeply.
